I am Melanie, Award winning Make-up Artist in Northumberland with a huge passion for make-up. I specialise in Bridal, Editorial and Occasion make-up.

I am married with a family and have my lovely little Jack Russell called Monty who I love taking on adventures. I am lucky enough to have worked in the Beauty Industry for over twenty years and turned my love for Make-up into a business I truly love. It’s true when they say  “Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life.”

Working in the cosmetic Industry has gained me many years of experience working with all ages, keeping me up to date with constant trend changes and innovative new products. I absolutely love make-up and have always had a passion about learning different looks and techniques as well as understanding the importance of keeping up-to-date with ever-changing trends.

Having originally trained as a Beauty Therapist at college, I quickly realised my main passion was make-up and making people feel good about themselves. My business ethos is built upon inspiring women of all ages. I have pride in myself that my natural style can make women, regardless of age, look and feel confident in their own skin. My natural signature style is timeless and chic. It compliments all women, all genres and all ages. I strongly believe that make-up should build upon and emphasise the beauty that already exists.

Over twenty years I have gained experience working within the Fashion, Photographic, TV and Bridal Industries. My early television debut was on a well known make-up programme. It was a wonderful experience and I gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise on how make up reacts differently under the camera and lights. The experience was incredibly valuable as it gave a true insight into real women and their insecurities. Building confidence is therefore an integral part of my job. I aim to create a beautiful look that boosts self belief, creating the assurance needed and being comfortable within yourself.

I have been running my business within the Bridal industry for over two decades, and I can’t emphasise to you enough how much I truly love it.

I am fully insured and work either mobile or studio based. My beautiful bespoke studio is in Cramlington. My exclusive make-up kit contains luxury branded products that look amazing in real life but are also incredibly photogenic as well as in print. The products have been expertly picked to ensure that they are transfer and humidity resistant and will last you for the full day.
