TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PLEASE NOTE, ALL WEDDINGS TO HAVE A MINIMUM PERSON BOOKING OF BRIDE + 2 (OR PAYMENT OF EQUIVALENT).

WEDDINGS

All deposits for weddings are £50. This is to secure the date only and is non refundable against the price. This has been implemented since COVID 19.

The client can cancel the event any time up to 6 weeks before the wedding by informing the makeup artist in writing.
Any cancellations made after this time will be subject to a 50% charge of the wedding bridal party.
Melanie Hedley Make up Artist will be under no obligation to refund any money paid up until the point of cancellation as the booking fee and all deposits are non refundable.

TRIALS
Trials are roughly 2 hours long. The client can cancel a trial at any point, however a trial cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged at the agreed rate which is £50. If you require more than one trial is it will be charged accordingly.

UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES OR CANCELLATION

In the unusual circumstance a cancellation of your wedding was to occur – due to unforeseen problems which are unavoidable – this will result in a refund to the client, minus the initial deposit. No further compensation will be offered.
However I will give at least seven days notice and will also help to find an alternative Make up Artist with a similar signature style.

If the booking is directly affected by circumstances beyond the control of the makeup artist (eg Extreme weather, Incident or unforeseen illness) a 50% refund would apply to the booking affected.

BEAUTY APPOINTMENTS AND OCCASIONAL MAKE UP

All cancellations will need at least seven days notice. Where a fee of £20 will be charged unless rescheduled. Any cancellations 48 hours or less will be charged in full.

UNSOCIAL HOURS

There will be an additional wedding charge of £20 for unsocial hours or in public holidays (before the hours of 6am and ending after 10pm).
